Head of UX, Managing Director

Built a global UX team, enabling $500m in revenue, $7b valuation, $200b in assets through the iCapital platform which provides the full alternative investment lifecycle for both internal and external users.

  • In the first 30 days established a strategy for user engagement; 15k insights across 106 projects have led to: better awareness of user pain/gain points, new product features and enhancements exceeding our biggest clients’ expectations, and company-wide empathy for our internal and external users.

  • From the whiteboard to release, injected a design strategy emphasizing user-centered, data-driven methodologies, and efficiency and speed through the creation and usage of an atomic-driven design system.

  • Designed and implemented 2 global UX-led programs to measure the usability of the platform, which drove the product strategy into alignment with those key metrics.

Established UX as a vital discipline at Realogy, transforming design practices across 15+ products and 6 brands leading to a more cohesive, global design strategy for the 200k agents using the Realogy product ecosystem.

  • Researched and designed products that enabled agents to run their businesses efficiently and effectively, by creating user-friendly, intuitive desktop and mobile products.

  • Hosted “UX Talks” to grow awareness with senior leaders on UX's strategic approach during digital transformation.

  • Designed and hosted a massive live usability testing event at Realogy’s global sales conference. Agents were able to walk up to stations and run through multiple scenarios in a prototype. The findings were synthesized and drove the product roadmap.

  • Grew and mentored a team of 2 designers up to 30+ designers and researchers, while still optimizing UX resources and managing the budget.

Led a team of 7-8 UX designers and architects for the Horizon Digital Member Portal, implementing a UCD-focused process in Agile sprints. Hand-picked for a 90-day innovation unit at AIG, contributing to proposals for senior leaders at CES 2018. In addition, I led the UX redesign of the AIG annuities website, managing Agile design processes and weekly demos for internal stakeholders, including executive presentations.
