Time and time again I've been asked to describe the "ideal UX process." While this process is only one example of how UX can be implemented, this covers most.

Wiley Custom Select

Modernize and update the IA of the Wiley Custom Select product in order to increase usability and interest in the product.
PROCESS
I led a the team who worked on this project.
We began with interviewing users to see what features they use the most. Following that a clickable prototype was created to test the usability, and confirm our decisions.
Creative direction on the final UI design as well.
Wiley Open Access

Create a product for scientific researchers to publish and consume scholarly work as part of the Open Access initiative.
PROCESS
Interview researchers to understand how they think about Open Access in general. Show then concepts of homepages to gain their reactions.
Iterate on the design and build out a full deck.
Create a prototype and engage researchers in one-on-one research to allow them to click through the product.
